That’s a 17 lb brood stock chinook from the us side the local tribe is trying to reintroduce them up here to force the hand of the govt on fish ladders as of last year I heard a couple of the juveniles made it down over the coullie dam no small feat

@Eckman so it's okay now to hold wild Fish out of the water along with it being 4 feet out. So when you drop it ends up killing it or injuring it. Suggest you learn how to properly take photos of fish.

It always amazes me steelhead dont die jumping over waterfalls, I mean, it takes dozens of attempts to make them some times

Spent most of my time on the double haul for salmon, but more to enjoy beautiful places. Took my hunting buddy for his first day of hookup on saltwater salmon, now he wants to fish vs. hunt
