Swing weight for long rods

Hello,

What do you have in a 14-15 ft 8 to 9 weight rod with a low overall and swing weight?

I have a Loomis grease liner 15 ft 8/9 long belly. It balances perfectly with a light reel (hardy marquis) and I can even single hand cast it at short distances.
I have tried a few other well known, praised 15 ft rods, and my heaviest reels barely balance them, and the extra weight is very noticeable while casting.

I’m sure I would get used to the extra weight but is the old Loomis a one off or do most newer 14+ rods have a low swing weight?

Ok Fwiw and to most guys including single hand rod Fishers I am going to go against the grain.
I do not use my reels to balance my rods.
I prefer lowest swing weight.
On my 15 foot 10 wts I often use a Colton single hand 10 12 or their newer spey reel which is larger but a heavy reel. This is an American company.
On my salt water Two Handers 12' 9" which I cast OH 550 grains. ( It will handle 650 for guys who prefer a heavier line.) I always use the 10 12 single hand reel.
If anyone would try and asign a spey line for this rod it would probably be a 12 or 13.wt.
On this rod it just fits.
Single hand rods even less of an issue and swing Weight on the low side way more important for me
Swimming against the current is not easy.
But there is the option to try it and for a decent trial.
