I was active on SP in the early years, but haven't been active in at least 15 years. The last few years have had me back on a river occasionally, usually seeking a summer/fall steelhead on top. My home river used to be the North Umpqua in Oregon. I was back on the NU last month, with some success, and in October I will spend some time on the Clearwater and Salmon in Idaho.
My casting was better 15+ years ago. I can now cast better with my left hand up than I could then, but it is still poor. Right hand up can be anything from pretty darn good to "I suck."
But it is all fun.
I am back here to re-learn and watch for lines. Not much available anymore that matches my favorite rod and is not shorter than I like. I will probably try a Gaelforce Equalizer 54' 7/8 when I get to the Red Shed.
