Has anyone else found that the Loop Warranty service is quite slow.
I have been waiting now for over a month. Any suggestions?:(
I understand that GLoomis sends a new rod even before you send the other back for repair...

Call Castaway Fly Shop and ask for Rial. Joe Roope now owns Loop North America and Rial is the man to get in touch with at the North American distribution center. In my experience Loop will do whatever it takes to get their customers taken care of.

1-800-410-3133 is the number.

Good Luck there!!

Took Loop (Sweden) 2 months to replace a broken section (on my Opti Zpey) that snapped mid cast on the 8th outing with the rod!! Also they refused to honour the warranty so I had to pay for the new section. Heard nothing but excuses all that time and took the intervention of a Loop agent here in the UK to make them get a move on.

Must say I don't think I'd buy from them again!!

My experience with Loop N. America (castaway fly shop) was with a loop multi 5wt. Broke the tip fishing one day, called the shop up and had to send in the rod. I wanted to get it back as fast as possible so I 2-day business shipped it. (live in california, shop is in Idaho)

Had to pay 50 bucks for a replacement section, and the shipping cost me about 65 bucks. Then I waited 3 weeks or so....... And all they did was ship my rod back with a new tip. Why did I have to send my whole rod up when all they did was send a new tip?

During the 3 weeks I went out and bought a whole new setup cause i couldnt wait...

I really, really love the rod. Its the only reason I would buy Loop again. But the N .American Service isnt up to par.

If I break my sage I just go into local flyshop and boom shipping is free and its like 50 bucks flat to fix anything (used to be free :()

Just my .02

LOOP Warranty sucks big big time , i'll never own another rod from them , had a rod last fall that needed a new tip ,rod was like mint & new , gave down $75 bucks for warranty , and the waiting game started ,

lucky for me as i was heading out to the skeena a couple friends stepped up and gave me a backup rod ,

and the local fly shop '' southbow'' Mikey and Dave was nice enough to give me the loop demo rod from the shop to take as it was the same as my rod that needed the tip ,

i couldn't understand why they the warranty had new rods in tubes and just couldn't take a tip out and send to the flyshop for me , oh no had to wait till just a tip came in , took about 3 1/2 months ,

soon as i got back and the tip came in , i decide to sell the rod and i'll never buy another loop , it's not like the price on these rods is $200 bucks , they want allot for a rod and heck with me ,a person should get the fastest and best warranty service , it was like they didn't even give a **** i was going on a trip and needed a rod

i guess they moved all the warranty work to ont to fix the mess they were having , so i'm told , and yes john did take care of the me and the mess and i got my tip at last , so a big thanks to john
