Does anyone here know much about the Kasilof? A shot in the dark for me, but heading up there in a couple of weeks. It appears to be a larger body of water. Skagit/Scandi? Color recommendations for steelhead? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Tight lines!

I got a buddy up there guiding for a lodge right now. Seems to be mostly skagit head work with MD float/sink tips..from the few conversations I’ve had with him!
I’m sure scandi lines with whatever leader / sink tip configuration would work as well.
He asked for my opinion on guide flies and I told him to just tie Stu’s Metal Heads in different colors, sizes & weights and his clients have been getting on fish!
