Ciao Matteo and benvenuto! I'm Canadian, but my wife's family is from Veneto, so I often use a spey rod for Marble Trout in the Brenta and Piave Rivers during our frequent visits there. It's great casting practice for steelhead and Atlantic salmon and sometimes the marmorata you catch can be as big as steelhead. You should try it if you haven't already. Enjoy the journey!
