I got the ren epic waters 7127-6 a couple weeks ago, different rods but close cousins I imagine. I used the undertaker 35, 400+375 and the tributary 475 I had for my 6 weights. All the lines felt great but the 400 grain undertaker is my favourite for sure.
I have one I just love it! I tried the tributaries on that one as well as my 14 foot 7 weight NAM and there ain’t nothing better than an Airflo 480 compact scandi on those rods...I consider myself a fair touch and go caster with excellent sustained anchor abilities with some shmancy hybrid stuff when needed and I can’t for the life of me get those Bridge lines to work for me at all. I’ll be putting them up for sale tomorrow if interested for your future 7126.
Parera - How long do you like your leaders with the Bridge Tributary lines? I was using a 15' custom leader on a recent trip with the Nam REN 7140-5 that Barret's group joined and he said he like a shorter leader on this specific rod.
I went shorter too; 13' with about the butt being 20lb Max UG and the rest being 10 lb UG which in most situations include a 2' section of zentai (I've been using the bridge mainstem on it too and went even shorter due to extra stick from the line itself).
