I use the 425 gr Scandi Body on my Scott T3H 1287/4 and find it perfect with an 8 wt 15’ floating versitip or the 10’ with a long polyleader when skating. For fishing larger things like MOAL/medium Intruders an 8 or 9 weight sinking 15’ versitip or T11/14 MOW goes great with touch and go or sustained anchor casts.

It really is a very versatile head and lends itself well for making a dual density system. I also use a 400 gr intermediate Scandi Body with the same sink tips when wanting to fish slower or deeper.

I never noticed an issue as the Scandi Body generates a lot of line speed...
