This outfit is a scam: Phil Rowley & Brian Chan's Stillwater Fly Fishing Store, online store It's based in OK City, OK, and uses the name of a legitimate Oregon biz called Stillwater Fly Shop. The scam biz lists a wide range of fly fishing/Spey fishing gear, not just reels.

Was bit by a scammer a while back. Ordered a tarp and received baby socks. Took 3 months to straighten out with AMEX and then the scammer used my card info to donate $2000+ at "Go Fund Me" sites. So if it looks like a scam and smells like a scam it's a scam

.Unfortunately - they are counting on folks who take that chance. $100 here and there for what is a couple hours to set up a fake e-commerce website. It's worth it for them. By the time a bank closes down the scam - it's too late. On sites that I haven't used before, I'll cross reference the street locale and publicly open information to see if everything lines up. If there was a higher price for entry to be restrictive - that would be ideal. Something where legit companies could get that price of entry back.
