Anyone have any experience with the new Lamson Remix or Liquid reels? Was looking at the 3 pack in the size 4 to balance out a 6wt switch rod. Read over Tridents recent flyreel shootout and they say that they have a significant amount of startup inertia on them which I'm not keen on. Anyone have any experience with them that they can share.

Remix and Liquid has same drag as most other Lamson reels. IMO they are the best value for a sealed disk drag reel today. I actually like the Remix better than some other higher priced Lamsons because of that beefy easy to grip drag knob. Im not sure how Liquids drag knob is but on some Litespeeds and Speedsters Ive had my running line get in between the frame and knob. I say go for the Remix. Great honest reel.
