The latest off the bench and the second of three Redwood builds for this angler …….. was sent out to The State of Montana. This dark flammed rod from my Redwood Series is a 13’ 0” for a 8/9 weight designed with my Parabolic Taper. This rod favours a 540 grain Scandi, a 525 - 575 grain Skagit based on which tip is being used or a Mid Belly around 630 grains. I love fishing a Nexcast ff45 or a Bridge Tributary on my personal rod. This rod is wrapped in vintage Belding Corticelli Ginger silk tipped in Purple. The beautiful set of Amber Agate stripping guides are from the shop of Joe Arguello. The reel seat hardware comes from Joel at Lemke Concepts. The reel seat insert is a Beautiful piece of Black Walnut that was turned in my shop. The hardware is snake guides from Snake Brand. The flor cork comes straight from Portugal and Marcia. Randall …..
