A mind set? Fishing or 'catching.'
A bit simplilistic to say the least, but I found my 'hook rate' jumped significantly when I changed my 'mind-set' from I'm fishing to "I'm catching."
A matter of focus? Still mid-line in my ability to spey cast (some days really pretty good) others I go home early. But, with a "hunter's mentality" the results show up on hooked and release stats.
