Does anyone have the head wieghts aand head lengths for the various SA XLT lines? I have gone through a lot of old threads and did not find anything very reliable for all of the lines; I found nothing for any of the lighter lines, which are the ones that I am interested in. From what has been said, they must be heavier than the Rio WC and MS lines and the Airflow lines.

Thanks

And when he responds be sure to keep us all in the

loop on the answer(s). Have all three lines and I'm more that interested. Looking forward to comparing 'the answers' to that of the new Rio line.

Here is what Bruce sent me. It is all that I asked for since i rarely use 10 wt.s or heavier. I made the calculation to grains.

The head lengths and head weights for the 3 lightest XLT's are below, let
me know if you need further information.

6/7 - 90 ft. head - head wt. 51 grams (787 g)
7/8 - 95 ft. head - head wt. 57 grams (880 g)
8/9 - 95 ft. head - head wt. 67 grams (1034 g)
If you want to convert the gram weights to grains, multiply by 15.432.
Regards,
Bruce

for comparison a 6/7 Midspey weighs 490 g and a 8/9 Grand Spey weighs 1100 g
