Looking to put a decent clicker on my 4wt trout spey. Doesn't need to be fancy, just hold some line and be loud. If you have something lying around you've been thinking of getting rid of or aren't using, give me a holler.

What did you go with? I am in the same boat looking for something not too fancy but loud at the same time for my trout spey

Had someone offer a good deal on an almost new Pfleuger Medalist 7/8. I've got some spring creek buddies in PA that only use this reel. Also had someone offer a SA with a spare spool, but it was not as new and not as loud.

Honestly, the Orvis Battenkill is a decent, loud reel that I think would also suit the purpose well in the right size.

While it isn't loud, I really dig the new Sage Spectrum on my soft hackle rod. Great drag and build quality.
