Hello, anyone have a skagit head in the 400-450 that you're not using? And a 5wt Speydicator? Would love to test out these lines on my upcoming 11'1" 5wt meiser build. Thanks!

Where Did You Come Up with 400-450

Sounds a bit on the heavy side, thinking the 360-390 range would be better, byt I do not know the rod

That was the recommended skagit grains from Bob. I was a little surprised on how high it was but won't know til I test cast!

Hello there!

I have a 11'7" 6/7/8 meiser build and the SGS paired skagit says its 525 grains and can take up to 225 grain tips?!?!?! Anyway, my suggestion is to get the SGS paired line and sleep tight knowing there is no better set up.
