Haven't used that rod myself but if it acts anything like my TCX 7119 I'd be looking for one as well. Good luck in your search. I loaded mine with a 500 skagit max and it bombs. You should probably start with a 525 and tinker from there. I do have a Amundson Wind Warrior 9/10 that I used just once and then realized I like my reels loud.

A 3500D would be a good option too. Little more weight to help balance the long rod and more capacity for spey lines. Just a suggestion.
