bob,
Meiser rods do not come up for sale that often; I think most people tend keep their rods, and for good reason. The other consideration is when they do show up in the classifieds they tend to retain a great deal of value. Taken those points into consideration you should give Meiser a call and get exactly what you want. Good luck, Scott

Try before you fly!

I think Bob may be out your way at the Salmon River Clave in a couple of weeks. If you are going, you could give his line-up a try and know for sure which rod(s ;) ) you actually want. If you are a good, you may be able to talk him into selling one of his demo rods.

I tend to agree with SMann.

I own a Meiser MKS 13'6" 7/8 and love it. Wouldn't trade it for anything as it's my primary rod year-round.

Even if I did sell it I would probably ask north of $500. So for just a $100-200 more you could get a brand-new one.

My 2 cents.
