For any of you that have one laying around after switching to a pedestal, I'm interested in picking one up.

DH,

If you’re handy, and have the most basic of tools around, you can easily make a rod any length you like.
IIRC, the shaft on the Regal is 3/8”. Here is one source for O-1 (oil hardening) drill rod, 3/8” diameter.
You’ll need a hacksaw, a suitable flat file (a 6” or 8” Mill Bastard would be fine), sandpaper (220 or 320 grit), and a drill

A 36” stick will run $5.41.
You can hand file the flat for attachment to the vise body, then drill it and cut it the length that works best for you.
Hope this helps.

Best wishes,
Bob
