I have a ballistic for my 5126 One and it really sings. The vectors are such a user friendly line. I have the XL as well and its as close to a " long belly" as i have found. Yes it grains out high for trout but it's longer than most and the Vector taper is what really creates the magic. Trout fishing is subjective on so many levels anyway. Fish size and weather conditions and and fly size etc... I run a Vector on a 15 foot 7/8 and it is such a blast to cast.
Search Vector here and rest assured that they offer much the same behavior in the lower weights as they do in the higher range. You might fall in love and I know there are others who feel the same.
