You certainly have the hang of hair wings. Nice sleek tag and body proportions. With the purple and gold you have a very royal or regal look. It is suggestive of a religious garment, but a little late for Easter.

Saved in my archives as well. What hair did you use for the wing?

I'm almost always partial to arctic fox for hairwings, can't always get the really soft fluffy stuff, but I preen it a lot before tying in and try to use some stiffer underwing and send two wraps behind to help it perk up.
Also stage tight stacked tapers at the tie in point to help keep the bulk down.
Re-positioning the guard hairs in each stack helps too.
