I'm looking for a spey rod and reel and line. What setups are good for the sandy river that aren't too expensive

If you can hold off until mid-May you can try a whole bunch of rods at the Sandy Spey Clave!

Hoy Vey, Juro understates the "answer."

Hit the Sandy Clave and you'll have every concevable combo of rod, reel, line you could ever consider. Best yet, the folks who are the best in the 'biz' of spey casting will walk/cast you through the selections available.

Sandy Candy,
Why wait to till the clave? Why not give Mark, our Sandy Clave benefactor and a fine presenter to boot, a call, discuss your needs and budget and see what suggestions he might offer? The Sandy is in his backyard and I'm sure he'll be glad to share a thought or two. John :smokin:
