Anyone know the capacity and weight of a 4.5" Perfect (circa 1910-20).

Wondering what size of rod this reel balances off nicely or if it's too big and heavy for say a 14" 9wt rod.

How much does a 4.25" Perfect weigh?

My 4.5" weighs 18.4 oz unloaded, no line guard. The archives have 2 different 4.25" Perfects coming in at 19 oz (WG's w/line guard) and 16.5 oz (sinktip's w/o line guard) fully loaded. Subtract 2-3 oz from theirs for line and backing
