I have an English made, ribbed brass foot Salmon 2 that I would let go for $150 shipped. Here's the catch: this reel originally had the inferior O-ring check mechanism. I had Archuleta retrofit it with the better spring and pawl mechanism. Though shows normal level of use for a reel of its vintage, it is a very solid reel mechanically. The check is better than my Salmon 1 and 3 that that are original spring & pawl reels. The only thing that is funky is that the lettering on the O-ring style Salmons run south to north (vs. west to east on the spring and pawl versions). So the rivets relating to the spring and pawl retrofit look a little weird relative to the lettering. If interested, PM me your email address and I'll shoot you some pictures.
