This does not look like a WALTON POWELL rod, but rather a POWELL ROD COMPANY signature series travel rod. POWELL rod co used a block print and Walton Powell rods were signed Walton Powell in cursive. It is difficult to say given the low resolution of your photos. Also this rod should have come with a screw on cork fighting butt.

Correction the rod appears to be a POWELL ROD COMPANY “light touch “ series travel rod.
