I have 2 important vintage fishing tackle auction catalogs for sale. One is the March 11, 2008 Moore, Allen & Innocent catalog and the second is the March 26, 2011 Angling Auctions catalog. The Moore Allen catalog consisted of 836 lots and featured many rare Hardy reels and Allcock Aerials most from an "important single owner collection". The Angling Auctions catalog had 740 lots and featured the Graham Turner collection. Auction results are included for each catalog. Both are full size catalogs, about 8-1/4" by 11-1/2".

What I think makes these catalogs important is the number and quality of late 19th and early 20th century tackle items. Reels are the most common items seen but rods, lures, printed matter, stream side accessories and other ephemera are included. There is an emphasis on Hardy and other England tackle makers. These catalogs are a great supplement to books and the tackle maker's own catalogs for doing research. And, the pricing information provided by the auction results adds a great deal to the value of this resource.

Both catalogs are complete, no pages missing. All the important lots include good photos. The Angling Auctions catalog is in very good condition showing some signs of use including ink marks beside some lot descriptions. The Moore Allen catalog is also in very good condition except for small holes punched through it along the top of its pages - no loss of any text or photos.

I'm asking just $65 for both catalogs including media mail postage to the lower 48. PayPal only please and I'll pay their fees.

PM if interested.
