I have little info on this rod other than it's about a 5-7 weight, 8'6" or 9' feet, possibly from the 40's or 50's and is really cool. The rod is in fishing condition but it could use a refinish. This could be a cool project for someone. The brand is possibly Montague as the sticker is smudged and I can only see the "Mont" part.

I would probably guess it to be a montague, been around since the 1800s. Mass produced through the 40s and 50s, you could post a picture and we may be able to confirm. A few of there 300 or so models have cult followings.
Rod has been verified as a vintage Montague split bamboo rod by another member.

You may want to try this post on Clarks Classic Fly Rod Forum probably more people there who are into these size rods and will also be more familiar with the value, etc.
