Are there any good videos for beginners that show specifically left handers? (left hand "on top") I try to visualise the mirror image of the casts on some of the videos, but it's kind of tough.
Thanks

Two suggestions I would make -

1) You could watch the video thru a mirror, seriously!

2) Stand across a small body of water at 45 degree angles with a buddy who knows how to demo the casts you want to learn. The 45's let you cast diagonally past each other while standing fairly close so you can communicate. As you watch him, you will see things happening in a virtual mirror. It's easy for humans to imitate the motions you see in this fashion, and this is a popular technique for teaching karate students their 'moves'.

I am a definite proponent of casting from both sides. Hopefully you will find someone in your area who can show you from your perspective.

Good luck and go to the Great Lakes Spey Clave! :smokin:
