I have a copy of Bob Ververka's "Spey Flies- How to Tie Them" that I was considering selling. I was snooping around online and saw some crazy prices for this book. Has this book really gone up in value?

Heh

As someone who lives in the Greater Toronto Area, I got the Acton reference, although I have never actually been to the Old Hide House.

We've lived out here for 25 years and I still use that one. I've never been there either.

Pork, the last time I saw it it was $240 I think?

Crazy. I'd consider selling mine if I knew I'd get that price! I like it...it's a great book...but damn!

They have to start reissuing some of these as ebooks.

Looks like there is a google ebook available. The quality of the scans look a little iffy though. Has anyone here downloaded it? Quality?

You're dating yourself. I haven't heard that slogan in ages! It crossed my mine when I read it but i said to myself "nah..."

Looked at the Amazon price and ...

had to go to the bathroom! As the Canadian Dollar is (basically) at 'par' with the US $900.00+ sounds a "tad high." Why not just re-print the book if there's this kind of demand?

I got my copy in 2007 - for the princely sum of.....£15.71 (US$25.00)!!

Still in mint condition ;)

Never knew it would be that much of an investment!!:whoa:
