Hi All,
My Father is visiting me in Vancouver and is heading to Vancouver Island for a week and would like to do some Winter steel fishing.
He will be based Comox, tofino and a night in Victoria and another in Sooke.
Can anyone recommend a guide or would anyone be willing to join him for a days fishing while he is out on the island.
He is only looking for a fly guide- no indicator stuff.

Yep those are my thoughts, the gold would be my choice but its a bit of a drive on a morning from Comox I guess 3 Hours, but worth it.

There is Ken Moreau of Single Spey Fly Fishing Adventures and Mark McAneely in Campbell River. There is also Perry Wilson of Northland Fly in Port McNeil. They are all fly guides and they all operate on the same rivers in the area. I have never hired them but know people who have and they had a good time.

I have worked with this guy over the years he is a very fishy dude and knows that area very well!! I am sure he will get him into some fish, not to mention C is a good all around guy period!!

Sadly my father was washed out on the island, He says that the rain was unlike anything he had ever seen and he is a dinosaur so it must have been wet.
