Hi all, hope everyone is well, found some time to sit at the bench this morning, first time in weeks, and went with a variation of Dave Mcneese's Umpqua Light Spey. This is my first shot at a veiled body, one day hope to give a chatterer a try, so gotta start somewhere. The veil is 20 kingfisher rump feathers tied top, bottom and sides tapered over each other, over a silver tinsel under body with a doctor blue silk tag. Forgot the KF cheeks, didn't notice till after the head was sealed, oh well. BHsz2, Cameron

That is a Steelhead killer
Yes KF turns gray, however it is a luminous gray, much like BEP with the POP of Macaw.
The profile of this fly is wickedly sleek ...
