I came across this in speypages years ago as someone posted this as an attachment.

But somehow I am unable to find it using key word searches on this forum.

Help anyone?

This is the Lee Wulff Triangular Taper patent.

PS: Can't even find it on Google Patent.

I did a google patent prior to this post and got the same results.

I also saw what appears to be the GPS line as well.

I remember distinctly there was a prior posting on Speypages that showed the triangle taper. It is unlike the file attached by Gary that shows a belly, as it is simple one continuous taper without a level belly.

Hi Barney,
The USPTO link is your best search tool.
The quick search feature with Term 1 and all fields will get you started.
Start reviewing the search hits.
Then you can also look at the references sited.
If you are looking for a US patent, it's in there.
Regarding US patent 4,524,540.
Independent Claim 1 and the dependent Claims 2 and 3 is the triangle taper.

Thanks Gary. I re-read the patent and I agree with you. Thanks for the heads up.
