Gents,

I bought the Beulah Surf 8/9 this summer and used it about a dozen times. Nice rod but it's not for me. I don't need to part with it, but I'd sure like another 10 or 11 weight. Anyone interested in a trade? I could probably throw in a little cash if the scales were tipped better in your direction. I'm looking for a really fast stick. I'd consider everything but an Xi2 ( I already have two of them.)

Let me know what you got

Don't know if its fast enough for you but I have a new St Croix Legend Ultra 11wt 2 piece rod. I'm not interested in a trade, asking $285 plus shipping. Ron

Sorry Ron, that's not the stick I'm looking for. But thanks for reaching out.

Might consider the Beulah depending on lenght. I have new SH Penn International 11 # 12 weights.
It's an 11 footer. But I'm going to pass on the Penn. I'm mostly interested in Sage, Scott, T&T, and possibly a Loomis or Orvis.

Interested in a Loomis CC GLX?

What is it about your Beulah 8/9 Surf rod that makes it not for you?

I've been looking for a Beulah 9/10 but may be interested in your 8/9. Any interest in a Loomis GLX CrossCurrent 9' 10 wt?

It's a nice stick, I just don't love it. I mostly flats fish and don't like using a 2 hander for it. I probably should have bought the 9/10 to cut through the wind.

I think at this point I'm really looking for a TCX, Sage One, Scott STS, or T&T.
