will a tioga 10 hold a sa short head in 6/7 with sufficient enough backing? thanks for any feedback.

Hey Scottd,
I have the 6/7 SA short loaded onto a tioga 12 (non large arbor) with tons of backing and I have plenty of room left. I suspect a tioga 10 will be spot on.

Hey Scott...

I have a Tioga 10 standard arbor with a Hardy Mach1 8/9 and enough 20# backing for smaller steelhead. I believe there is enough room left to accomidate the difference between my line and the one you want to use. I think I got 140yds. or 150yds. of 20# and a 7/8 Delta Long on a Tioga 10 standard arbor.
