I seem to remember reading somewhere about Thompson River steelhead being physiologically the strongest steelhead (i.e., a peer-reviewed scientific paper). Anyone know of such a paper and can give me the reference? Thanks.
I think the paper you are referring to is available in the Canadian Journal of Fisheries & Aquatic Sciences, published by the feds. Should be able to get a copy through a university (SFU or UBC maybe?). Failing that, most DFO offices have a library, but usually they aren't open to the public. Try a Google search on the journal; I think it is available for sale online as well. Not sure when the paper was published. Hope this helps.
