Hello fellow Speycasters!
Has anyone had the opportunity to cast R.L. Winston
Line of Boron III Two Hand Micro Spey Rods?
I seen that on Laramier's Blog he has helped develop the rods tappers and actions. The rods range from 3 wheight to 5 and from 10'6"-11'6".

My buddies and I got to cast the 3 and 4 prototypes along with the new prototype Airflo switch lines in June. The combo was very smooth and easy casting sticks, turning over shorter T7 and T10 tips nicely. They are very light crisp action rods, we were very impressed with how much line we could cast, we laughed at times at the distances produced with these shorter rods. Of course most times in fishing situations you aren't shooting all the line you can but it was nice to know the rod is capable. :D. Winston did their homework,IMO.
