The new 'Puppie-Puppie.'

Sandy/Husky now gone ... and fluff face, from Craig's list no less, next. Breakfast, for the two of us, is/was cheese and ritz crackers. This is going to work out very-very well, me thinks.

Soft ears, even softer brown eyes. Gentle stoke against her face. Brown eyes says it all: "This is my new home?" "It is indeed."

Both of us will be 'Happy Campers' I suspect.

This thread NEEDS pictures. HINT HINT Fred. We want to see those eyes! Nice!
Not sure who is the more fortunate one here; Fred, or Fluff Face...

Sounds like it could be the start of a long and meaningful friendship for both though. Best wishes,
JB

P.S. What kind of post is this anyway with no photos???
Glad you have a new member of the family, Fred. Equally glad you are doing well!

And I have to agree with everyone- we need to see some pic's.

That is awesome for the both of you. Nice pics!:chuckle:

We need pics of the puppy please.

I'm so happy for you and that pup will be spoiled rotten:)
Hello Fred and huge congrats with the new friend! What a boost to life in general :)
For Pic's I'll have to 'enlist' some help.

Dumb as it may sound, as given I spend hours every day' banging away on a key board, and I've never mastered how to post up a picture. Shareing 'financial information' with Ivan (Moscow), Geoff in Berlin, "King of all of Scotland," in Scotland. Guys a total Hoot but his Atlantic Salmon flies are 'Just hold in your hand,' I'll never be this good." Waaay beyond my Pay Grade.' Only photo's were sent as E mail attachments to a Mod who posted for me.

Fellow in Japan, whose Son spent a year with me, as he went to University (of Washington). Father/Son now passed, but we corresponded for years. A more than of years, back now and handed a box: "He would have liked you to have these." That fly box is in the Jeep as I type. Doubt any will ever see water, Sigiroo (sp?) Mr. Amamoto would not be pleased. Water they need, I just can't.

Son/Daughter sitting (age 5 and 7) next reading him the Sunday comic strips. Wife 1.0 and I would do Pan Cakes/Eggs for our group breakfast. Dinner was some thing done on the 'Q.' Found out much later his Father was the Japanese Ambassador to the United States/United Nations.

Best letter I ever had back was a simple card: "Thank you." Responded back" "Steelhead fishing was best in November-January but you will be sleeping in a canvas tent." GOD FATHER/SON COULD SNORE LIKE A CHAIN SAWS ON FULL RIP. But that's another story, for another time.

Perhaps.
The look back?

Open the box, touch the 59'ish year old feathers on home made hooks. Look up, blow air between your teeth, and just look, just look up, at the sky. Old Dogs understand.

So it would appear?

Congrats on the new pup Fred! Nothing like watching those first few months of fumbling & stumbling around trying to grow into there feet! Good laughs and many good years to come. Cheers!!
Fred is in love,,,,again

And unless he quits pampering his new love with goodies, she will soon lose her girlish figure. :Eyecrazy:
This may be true Jim.

Under my desk at the moment with her head on my feet. Gently rubbing her tummy with my toes.

But I am concerned about her health; OK????:(
Fred,

We enjoy every post you make and please do not stop.

I will never forget your post about casting with the left hand up and acting like the bear cub.

Post pictures of your new pup. It will bring some sunlight into our winter. We need every bit of sunlight in our New England winter.

Doug
Doug, interesting to what makes you think back.

Have a picture of my Daughter Julie coming home (two days old?). No idea where the heck the one of my Son might be but have one of him at age 10 with his first Steelhead. To contain that grin you have to go to 'wide screen' on a 'Puter. :smokin:

Julie-Boolie's first 'fishing trip' was on the Kalama River sleeping on a blue tarp. True story: Old couple camping next: 'We did that with our kids too.' I made a goodly pot of tea on a 'sterno can' stove, English Breakfast, we sipped our tea from proper cups, biskets, and home made strawberry jam. **

Greg: The first fish? Neighborhood BBQ and he was 'King of the Hill' explaining how one cooks a fish this size. Looked at Wife 1.0 rolled my eyes and just shook my head. Communication understood.

** "His health is not well, thank you for that."
Fred , you old dog , congrats and I'm waiting to see pictures of your new dog ,

nothing like a new puppy , no matter how bad a day you can have , they always will be at your side and hand and somehow I believe they do understand

You do know what they say Fred ,

a dog most times is like his owner for looks ,
Glad the pup worked out for you Fred. Will send you my email...I can post pics for you if you'd like.
I will need help with this.

Both my kids are, or were, Computer wizzies. I have to think through how to turn this danged thing on. Mzz Dog-Dog just 'crawled out' from below the desk; re-crashed on top of my feet.

Will her another 'toe tummy' wiggle.
Fred, the Pope just said that all God's creatures go to paradise. That makes me happy that if I am lucky enough to go there, I will see the pets that preceded me.

I am however concerned that I might meet up with the deer and elk that I hunted over the years. :>)
Just trust me on this one.

Can't speak for deer or elk as I don't hunt; well last time was probably close to 60 years ago. Subsistence hunting but there's no 'Catch and Release' from a 30-06. My Father was Canadian Champion ** small bore shot (.22's) and he/Mom/I hunted Canadian Geese with that rifle. Ted could take one out of the air; I had to wait till the things landed.

Worst part is we didn't have a dog so I had to take a swim to get the danged things back. Not recommended in Manitoba or BC for that matter.:saeek:

Still have one of his awards, inscription says: "9,994 (think that's right) in the 'ten ring'" and he lost.
