so when the leaf hatch starts hard and heavy, I tend to shy away from orange and yellow (and other fall leaf colors) when it comes to my fly selection. leaning more toward black or white. do you think the color of your fly matters when the fish see orange and yellow and red all day long? in my opinion I think it does but I'd like to hear what you folks have to say.

I agree Completely

However any colours besides the yellow and oranges Fish get tired of slashing at those colours all day long LOL unless they are vegatarians of course

Casey: I also tend to avoid flies with orange/yellow/red when there are a lot of leaves in the water. Brown/copper is another color I don't use.

This week I'm going to try some Black/purple and Black/blue marabous in 4" length :)
