Very shrimpy profile :whoa:
That is a great build my friend , very nice flow of colour !!
Did you wax the entire flee ?? I think you like your wax too much :chuckle:
Actually a very practical way to view both colour and material blend , good thinking
I prefer tying in horns the way you did , longer than the wing . Often I reverse the natural curve and have them flare out from the wing . Adds a bit more movement ... often I do the Hendrik "strip" at mid swing , which pulses the fly and causes hackles and wing to flare and move . By reversing the horns , they flare too

I can tell you have been really concentrating on your fly heads , great job !!

I was thinking along the same lines, Mike "Wax on the hackles there, Timmy?":hihi: Looks like it's already flowing! Is that Jay hackle? That subdued glow is righteous. Super good.

Homemade wax is awesome just finished up my batch had to re-melt it 5 times before I got it right.

Like this flee a lot! Blue is one of the trigger colors in my opinion.

Very good looking bug, reminds me of a Durham Ranger and I am a sucker for SD blue!
