I recently picked up this rod, and although stunning, just don’t see myself putting it to use. I talked with Glenn and this is what I know about it:

Mantra Series- 3 piece 1 tip
9’ for a 9wt
Built in 2009 and marked in his records as a prototype. He is not aware of building more than 1 in this spec.
I had my shop look at it and they don’t believe it has really been fished, perhaps test casted only. There is some soiling on the cork but no obvious marks or nicks that they can see. I’m not a bamboo expert so please let me know if there are specific pictures or questions and I am happy to help.
