no not that kind of stripper!:tsk_tsk: ,mention has been made of `nothing to do with `spey'rods' in another thread so,here's one that is;the `stripper guide' placement,give me your feedback on that,i've had rods that i thought would function better (due to loading the blank deeper)with lower placed `stripper'guides and rods that had the guides`possibly to low' to maximize `the shoot',of course the rods with the lowest guide placement were `rated' with DT lines,,,,,or in another wording=have you ever even thought about it?

Yes, higher for shooters, lower for no shooters is what I've always thought. I have seen some designs by people much smarter then myself that seem to contradict this however.

there you go!

the manufacturers can relax,,,nobody's noticing the strippper placement,i'd like a foldable or even removable huge stripper guide for dedicated shooting,maybe interchangable guides:eek:
