Steelhead bum tries Atlantic Salmon
Paul, I brought a 7/8 wt, rod. The flies the used were bombers and most of them were tied by the same local and spun out of caribou hair. Next time I would also bring a single handed rod. It would work better out of a boat on my weak side. I also think the dry flies could be presented better with a single handed rod. They also had sea-run brook trout. They were similar in size to the sea-run cutthroat I am now catching here in puget sound.
