[Green Butt]

I will be near Corvallis with a free day at the end of this week. Am a Washingtonian and not familiar with these rivers. The research I have just done shows the Santiam-N & S, or the McKenzie to be a good try. Am looking for a river with some flow yet for one day of wading and using my spey rod. Any public access point on one of these rivers would be appreciated.

I live on the N.Santiam river.The river is full of steelhead but the bite has been slow.Fish early and late.There is good access at the Fisherman's Bend park in Mill City.The park has several good runs in it .
If you would like more info PM me. I live in Mill City and am available anytime to show you around.Use small flies .I have picked up some swinging soft hackles tied on number six egg hooks.
