My copy is pretty ragged but its the only book next to my bed. A cup of tea, open to any page, any page. A good read.

Edit: The pictures of the 'Pioneers' I knew almost every one. If you are not already a member: Steelhead Trout Club of Washington. Joined when I was 13 or 14 and 'compted' as all I had was bus fair, but I used that for a raffle ticket. On my bicycle and the 'roaded' to down town Seattle.

They took darned good care of a kid.

That is a great story I am sure you have some GREAT memories!

Many can never imagine those times in todays way-too-fast paced world.
My first steelhead fly fishing book purchased in 1980. Mine is a soft cover and has been used so much that the cover is falling apart. A classic book for sure.
