Matt, I opted to go for a longer hackle in back section to make it a bit more fishy. Not sure if it actually is or not but it makes me feel more confident.
The "droopy" JC is more of a Dee trait although admittedly this is excessively exaggerated. I was copying the photo from John Shewey's book.
