Hi,
I just bought a used St.Croix IF14010; Length 14', Line 9/10.
Now I want to fish with shooting head and runningline.
I bought the runningline. Cortland 444SL.

But now I don´t know how many grains the shooting head needs special for this rod.

Can you help please?

greetings from germany

A Loop Adapted head 10/11 makes a nice 'psuedo' Skagit head for throwing tips on that rod. The head (without tips) comes in at about 618 grains.
