Presentations ?

I hold a more informal Clave
It is more about rods and casting than Presentations.
But we will have a couple.
I will be doing my casting Faults (unless some one else wants to ).
Mike Kinney will be doing casting presentation.
We may have a surprise or two.

Nice 'steelhead weather' for the clave today. A great turnout with lots of folks trying out rods from many manufacturers & great instruction too. Here's Mike:

As with any clave, there is always one skeptic, but even this cutie was convinced to take up spey casting once she witnessed Brian's effortless casting and tight loops.

Was a good time and highlighted my need for regular practice...

Unfortunately, going to this thing just cost me $500. Why have I not cast Meiser's 11'7" 5/6/7 before??? Overheading it with the Hardy Mach 8/9 and slipping only 5 feet of line I could cast the entire line with ease. Guess I found my new beach cutthroat rod combo. Oh and it spey casts very nicely as well :smokin: Will be calling you soon Meiz...

Thanks again Aaron for being a great host as always,

Thanks Aaron

Aaron,

Thanks for all the help on Friday with the lines. You are truely a fountain of knowledge on all aspects of spey. I really enjoyed the day.

What a great turnout for the Clave on Saturday. Thanks Marlow for letting me cast the new Dregers. Great rods.

Really enjoyed all the presentations and as usual learned a bunch for such talent. What a great bunch of folks in the Washington area.

Hope to see you all at the Sandy Clave.

Best,

Ray Phelps :)
