I very much appreciate your comments about ARC 1509-4 and 14'4'' CND rod.
Does anyone have experience with Rio Mid-Spey 8/9 or 9/10 on ARC 1509-4.

Hi Sazan - have not tried the midspey but have tried both the 9/10 long Delta and the 10/11 Delta by Airflo and they both work great on the rod. If I had to pick one long belly line it would be the 8/9 xlt.

Hi Sazan, i fish the 1509 a lot and really like the 8-9 midspey on it. Very easy kit to cast and does it all. Greg

I fished the 1509- 4 for about a year and found it to be a slow 9 wt. I preferred in the end the 7-8-9 Windcutter although I did use the upgrade. I also fished the 8/9 mid spey and I liked it but not as well as the Windcutter+upgrade. I usually prefer mid spey lines.
