My Grandad

Would spend all morn at the vice tying muddlers they were pristine I tell you.

Once reaching the riverbank he would remove them from his wallet and stomp em in the mud.. Said they will work now. We always caught fish so who was I to argue.. Still do it actually but don't tell Bill.

First ties on the Sawada hooks for me and I really like them.

Hook sizes are all over the place sometimes, so if anyone is looking into getting some of these, here is a shot of the Sawada sz. 8, and an AJ sz. 7, for comparison...
