Be on a feather wing kick as of late. Thinking about cold days and colder water. The green but spey is a split wing something that have never tried with a feather wing we’ll see how it swims soon enough!

Somebody call 911 !!!

Smokin' HOT !!! :smokin::smokin::smokin:
I would feel very comfortable swinging either of those flies knowing I have an awesome offering :)
Excellent composition, material placement and material selection is spot on Mr. Nickles !!
The colour combinations are confidence ... very inspiring !!!

I will also say the splayed wings impart a deadly action. I have tied saddle wings modeled after the Light Spruce trout fly that act like Dee strip wings.

Nice!!! What kinds of feathers are you using for the wings? These are looking good!

Nate
all beautiful flies nickles, are all the wings set like the white one, or just that one, cameron
Thanks guys! Just the white wing is a split wing. Nate I just use the cheep Chinese saddle capes. They seem to work well enough.

Can you PM me a source for these "Chinese" feathers? I like the look of them and good sources are tough around here.

ditto <img src="http://www.speypages.com/speyclave/images/SpeyPages_2015/smilies/tango_face_grin.png" border="0" alt="" title="Big Grin" class="inlineimg" />, been searching for awhile, cameron
I’m not real sure guys! I think I’ve got most of mine from cabalas and the local tackle shop that has one 4 foot by 6 foot section of fly tying stuff. I tried a search on eBay and didn’t find any I thought that was strange. Maybe I searched the wrong thing?
