The newer Edco made Solitude reels have been around for a few years now. They're not carried in any of my local shops and I'm hoping someone can give some feedback on them. The price is pretty good, especially for a made in the states reel. Costs just a little less than the Galvan Torque which I also like. I'm looking at the SR4 for use on a single hand rod for summer run. Thanks.
Had one for a while after going to their shop to check out the tooling. Well made, had good capacity and was smooth as silk really was a nice reel. My only complaint and the reason I went to something else is how quiet it is going both directions, if your into loud reels it wouldn't be the one for you. If you want to know anything else let me know.
I own three of them. They are solid, bomb-proof reels. Customer service is great, too.
